Product overview
Stainless Steel Nuts supply options
Stainless steel nuts must match the mating bolt or threaded rod in thread system, dimensional standard, stainless grade and mechanical requirement. LD Screw manufactures and supplies A2/304 and A4/316 hex nuts, thin nuts, lock nuts and drawing-based stainless nut parts for export orders. Each RFQ is checked for size, pitch, grade, surface condition, quantity, documentation and packing.
| Common types | Standard hex nuts, thin or jam nuts, nylon insert lock nuts, prevailing-torque nuts, flange nuts and drawing-based patterns, subject to review |
|---|---|
| Standard references | ISO 4032 / DIN 934 references for general hex nuts and ISO 4035 / DIN 439 references for thin nuts; confirm the exact locking-nut standard by type |
| Stainless grades | A2/304, A4/316 or buyer-specified stainless steel; state any ISO 3506-2 property-class and documentation requirement |
| Thread & fit | Metric coarse or fine pitch; specify diameter, pitch, tolerance and the mating bolt or threaded rod requirement |
| Surface & packing | Plain, cleaned, passivated or specified condition; small boxes, cartons, pallets and buyer labels by order |
How to order Stainless Steel Nuts
For an accurate stainless steel nut quotation, send the nut type, standard or drawing, thread diameter and pitch, stainless grade, property class where applicable, quantity and any locking, inspection, marking or packing requirement.
What we can coordinate
- Standard-series and drawing-based stainless nut supply
- Thread pitch, stainless grade and mating-part compatibility reviewed before quotation
- Matching stainless bolts, washers and threaded rods can be quoted as complete sets
- Inspection, labeling and export packing confirmed per order
Applications and selection notes
- Outdoor equipment and assemblies exposed to moisture
- Machinery, panels and fabricated stainless components
- Food, processing or cleaning environments when the selected grade is suitable
- OEM assemblies requiring locking, thin or drawing-based nut patterns
RFQ checklist for Stainless Steel Nuts
Include the following information so the quotation can be checked against the correct product and requirement.
- Nut type, dimensional standard or a drawing with critical dimensions
- Thread diameter, pitch, stainless grade and any property-class requirement
- Mating bolt or threaded rod standard, grade and surface condition
- Quantity, inspection documents, labeling, packing and destination
Buyer questions
What is the difference between A2 and A4 stainless steel nuts?
A2 is commonly associated with 304-type stainless steel, while A4 is commonly associated with 316-type stainless steel and is often considered for more demanding chloride-related environments. Select the grade for the actual service conditions.
Are DIN 934 and ISO 4032 nuts always interchangeable?
Do not assume complete interchangeability from the designation alone. Compare the applicable standard revision, width across flats, height, thread, tolerance, material and mechanical requirements before ordering.
How should a stainless nut be matched to a bolt or threaded rod?
Confirm the same thread diameter and pitch, then specify compatible stainless grades and property classes for the joint. Include any project standard, lubrication or anti-galling requirement in the RFQ.
How can thread galling be reduced in stainless assemblies?
Clean compatible threads, controlled installation speed and an approved lubricant or coating may help. The assembly method and any lubricant must be accepted for the application before ordering.
